Training of Government Officers

Under this activity, training programmes covering different aspects of Information Security are being conducted for the officers of Central and State Government. The activity has been assigned to six DIT organizations viz. DOEACC, ERNET, CDAC, NIC, STQC, CERT-In.

Training of Master Trainers: The ISEA Project envisaged training of 60 scientists/ engineers/ officers of DIT, including those of Societies and attached offices of DIT, and from other Ministries/ Departments, as Master Trainers at ISTM, New Delhi, IISc Bangalore and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, USA. These Master Trainers would further train trainers/users under the ISEA Project. The activity was coordinated by IISc, Bangalore which has successfully arranged the training of 60 Master Trainers in three batches of 20 each.

LM Development for Govt. Officers training: This activity has been assigned to CDAC, Delhi as recommended by the PRSG for undertaking the following mentioned activities:

Design and Development of modular Courseware on Information Security for short duration one/two days to one-week/two-weeks training programs for Government Officers.

Implementation of on-line training and awareness programmes on Information Security through interactive e-learning modules.
